This is 42nd Street, just
east of Times Square. While there are still remnants of its
recently sleazy past, the street and the Times Square area
are fast growing and changing. The tall building is the one
which has been known as the Times Tower and it is the
building from which the lighted ball descends on New Year's
Eve.
