Macworld Expo returned to the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City July 21-23, 1999, and once again Apple announced a major innovation. In 1998, it was the iMac. In 1999, it was the iBook, the first colorful laptop, and the first to have wireless access to the Internet.
