I take the train every day between Darien and New Haven, CT. One morning I noticed, aft er the clocks had returned to standard time, that the sun rising behind me was creating spectacular light for the trees and objects on the other side of the station from where I was standing. Luckily, I had my camera a few days later and was able to capture the colors and images.

It's early. None of the New York bound passengers has arrived yet. The colors are alone with the platform and the ads.

A train has arrived on the way to New York and Grand Central Terminal. Although the lines are electrified, this one has a diesel engine pushing the cars ahead of it. The early morning sun reflects off the windows.

People have arrived and stand on the platform, surrounded by the spectacular colors being enhanced by the early morning sunlight.
