Some years ago, several friends, especially those on the west coast, expressed an interest in seeing some of the fall colors that occur each year in this area. In 1997, the colors were particularly vibrant. Nature certainly did its role to help by preventing any big storms from blowing the leaves prematurely off the trees. I tried to take photos to give a feeling of just what fall is like around here. The photos on these pages were taken in Stamford, CT, and Bedford, NY, to give a feel of Autumn in New England.
